chap’s centimeter

chap’s centimeter
longer, higher
unreachable by
a mile from where
we are

the sins that
mothers hush up
keep the children
at the school
worried, disturbed

chap’s centimeter
deeper, stronger
misunderstood by
intelligent minds
in the stock market
church and government

the treasures that
mothers earn
are kept safely
in the bank

chap’s centimeter
darker, bluer
unseen by
travelers of tomorrow
raised a money
borrowed from none

their strength is strength
of one man

he that kills courage
is not a brave man
