Nathan’s Feet

Nathan’s feet are twenty-three
Sometimes trodding and free
Each toenail stings like a bee
Running swiftly yet carefree

Seven steps to manhood
Nathan’s feet delight in one mood
At the pedestal where it stood
These two inseparable sole have grown good

Streets in Vietnam these have altered
The American Dream it bothered
To the ends of the earth these feet conquered
Invincible, Nathan is pampered!
