Days of black.
Nights of white
One has highs.
The other has lows.
We’re born with counterparts.
We’re born with parallels.
We have thoughts of black and white.
Life is a fushion of good and bad.
We design this verve.
We argue, we fight.
Out there is a big love.
You and me in this checkered life.

But. Chequered boards of life don’t account for the forbidding grey areas Chester?
Gorgeous poem…..the way back and white of a checkered board is used as a metaphor is amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed reading this poem.
