hurdling & ghosts visiting

cruel fragments of chronicles-
flashing randomly, hurting me.

pausing…
i realized this evoking.

too intense,
these silly & pathetic strikes.
i won’t be dragged.

regressing-

impatience skews inspiration,
anxiety batters,
i’m brawling & wrestling.

rescue me, rescue me,
i can’t die today!

i’m moving, waving, flapping,
disregarding the sirens inside my mind,
returning from a daze.

at last-

i am home again, winning.

the line “impatience skews inspiration” rang true with me; I relate it to writing. I must let ideas sit and mell, or not, for long periods. I’m not sure how you are using or refering to it but thanks for reminding me.
