Goodbye sunset of July

Pretty is the past of your silhouette

Where crimson lines sit on your horizon

There’s la-la-la tickling my ears

Soothing the nuisance of cosmic adversaries

I’ve painted the canvass of your heart

All the beautiful things said

Are coming to an end

We missed the sunset of July

I see you used the word crimson here…For whatever reason that word sneaks into my poetry a lot…Really enjoyed the sunset metaphor here…wonderful work

Beautiful expression; this one makes me feel a bit nostalgic and as though I’ve lost something.

I really enjoyed this one. I found myself reading it four or five times over.
