Orange lanterns on sidewalk poles

Long skirts of women and girls

Huge amplifiers everywhere

Cookies are placed on paper plates

Children run here and there

While the moon waits for dancing stars

The overnight skies of carousing

Leaving the gentries sleep on rich beds

This earth is full of these

Chasing the madness of young and old

Chattering of many chronicles

Life is a mouth and ear

It’s like an everyday Christmas

When people forget the poverty

Prancing on wild streets

Gamboling with countryside revelry

I like how you juxtapose the gaiety with a lil social awareness. Leaves us thinking. Very nice.

Vivid images! I almost saw some lightning bugs. Those kinds of parties are the best. They make us quite wealthy.
