Life Of Little Odds And Bigger Mounds

Fairy tales are born on books
Prince and princesses aren’t fading
Every reader sits down on nooks
Pages are turning and turning and turning

One light invites other lights
Groping the shades of the earth
Heartbreaks are pain and blights
Leaving us like a surplus birth

It’s unfair to live in poverty and lack
When the rest have silvers in their mouth
Everything went blue and black
Tell me what these all about

Hounds pester hounds
The palace is too wide for intimacy
We skip and cross some bounds
Building these hush and privacy

  6. “It’s unfair to live in poverty and lack When the rest have silvers in their mouth”–how true isn’t it? this disparity in life? I’m glad you could write about this social issue hitting the sour note without sacrificing the poetic tone!

  7. Dear Chester

Life is beautiful as it is. The odds adds the beauty in life as we sail along with it. Beautiful poem…pleasant day ahead.
