Rhapsody

I am written

like the lyrics

of a song

intended to be

sung and played

with music

I am the song

that stretches

from stanza to

chorus and

the end

Sing me in

the morning

when the sun

is flaming

Sing me

at night

when the moon

is dancing

All of me

I am in tune

My rhapsody

is haunting you

♥ I fell in love with this poem starting from “I am written like the lyrics”. That is a profound opening line. Good job! Love, Kay Lynté

Beautiful words. It has a deep meaning to me. It’s short and sweet, and can be interpreted in many different ways. Thank you for giving me a serenading read. It lifts my mood just a little. Thank you.
