sentimental jazz

rabid colors like dead blue and reds

shading the thoughts of you and i

we sat staring at each other in silence

filling the unrestricted space with despair

we ignore to discuss the facts

of our tough times and love

almost there to agree in parting

our wisdom is our ultimate 911

these mouths begin to talk

candid representations of ourselves

we don’t limit our presence

and we shut the sentimental jazz

“rabid colors like dead blue and reds…” i cud feel the slow degeneration and disintigration of a relationship. Amazing use of simple words to create a lovely poem.
