gentle naked thoughts
of displeasure
sweating my flesh
yet wetter precipitation
is cruel to my skin

i fell under sardonic
occurrences and
i was mad at the frantic
crowd and fumed jeeps

the asphalt road
damped from thick
rain left me
disliking the month
and my bald head
has crystal drops
from the green
umbrella on my hand

hush me and
the mouths of
many pedestrians
chattering about
a homosexual cop

before this friday ends
i am dead tired indeed

I am dead tired indeed”….Chester, I grinned when I read this. I just pictured you sighing as I would have. Many, I’m sure, felt that last night.
