opaque

stoic face

seizes me

in front of

this old mirror

i cannot salute

myself in guilt

but underground

feelings are frank

when i tried to

hide i’m found

sick are the

wishing wells

at the edge

of cheating

is obvious to

me and not you

  1. I love this poem! It’s clear to me that you’re experiencing some kind of conflict within yourself, and although some parts of the poem are not quite comprehensible I’m assuming this is because you are not quite sure yourself?
