where the only waters can save us

jump and jump

into the waters where

fishes die like soldiers

hands that kill

minds of us

hands that save

poverty like us

we jump and jump

until deep is where

we drown

into the waters

where the waters

of fishes die like soldiers

hands and hands

many hands that

discriminate these

prosaic ethics

we’re not sold

and nobody buys us

we jump and wait

until the waters

where the only waters

can save us

Is this a song? I feel as if I can almost hear the melody

    • Hi Lois.

This isn’t a song and I am glad that you’ve heard the rhythm/beat of my poem… I’ll take it as a compliment as you see it fits as a song. Thanks for taking the time to read it and for dropping-by again 🙂
