maple leaves

i make you love me every drop of february dew
i let you seek me in the deepest surface of tuesday hue

no more lonely shadows of distant lovers
we are more colourful than a peacock’s feathers

you make me love you like a force of gravity
you let me seek you in the cruel days of calamity

this love kills the sound of hate
our love kills the sound of hate

we’re never these loveless
we’re no closer to sadness

we are the perfect threads that heaven weaves
we are the sweet sweet love as maple leaves
