8:00AM

schizophrenic morning
wandering away

today is delusion
hiding his sun
dripping his
ruffled summer rain

wind is bizarre
and eerie are the clouds

there, the populace
in purple expectations
groaning like hungry
mammals in the field

while i sit in front
of this animated screen
