can’t fathom a circumstance

sperm walls enchanted me
i am dislocated in a strange room
this whereabouts is like an oz
trapped in a spell of the witch

one two three i am counting
blinking and blinking i wish
this will end and i see it unending
the dream is a drum of tears

but laughter can kill the hatred
i learned to disguise
pain is difficult to hide
this face can’t fathom a circumstance

Nice twists and turns….love the way you write!

  3. is it supposed to read: sperm walls – or did you mean sperm whales? Great poem and, by the way, it works the the way it is as the bizarreness of ‘sperm wall’ instantly grabs the reader’s attention. Very bold!
