far-fetched

yellow curls
sweet marmalade
the back of your shirt
all painted blue
are those

cheese scent
causing crave
craves me
craves you
we’re cute as nails

billowing smoke
us billowing love
this lovemaking
drinks like red wine
oh so intoxicating

two stamps
separately licked by
foreign tongues
far far hometowns
our graveyard shift

you’re south
i’m east
we ease the distant
long missed kiss
dreaming is sleep
