of combined flashes

flashes of combined
lights oh neon nights
turning knobs of antique
doors of love to love
then hate to hate
oh many bruises of
our skins at home
when we fought
in our kitchen

of combined
flashes of neon lights
oh hurting nights
our eyes hurt what
we see and ears
deny what we hear

complicated us
complicating dreams

of combined
flashes of our shadows
moving on the canvass
of white wide board

of us combined
pain and resentment
tossing our heartbeats
back and forth until
everything we feel is
the sum of our honesty

Thanks for the like, Chester. I see you have a way with words also. Best of luck with the postings.
