the street where stars worth 2 dollars

it’s cheap out there
submerged in this
vain and war
i’m agitated

succumbing to
an open field
where lorry is
free to ride

shy to hide
from being naive
pop is ready
to play

they synthesize
in one common
place where
everyone dance

the lights
the ledge
boogie doggie
it’s cheap out there
