beneath below
deeper than
what i have known
now i understand

radios talk
ears hear anything
lips convey
ugly facts
lying denying

lost in time
when no one
is wise to
find the true
meaning of

sadness is inevitable
to those who
yield to a
pattern of hurt
breaking us
and we accept
the obvious

on this surface
below the earth

Very deep and moving expression of thought and feeling… I know not where you are in a sense I do however feel the pain and self discovery of transformation. The roots of all start beneath the earth and grow into things of great beauty and worth! Love the poem and thank you for sharing it! 🙂
