lucky

the whole world is
ours and we tied
our hands together
anchored our hearts
at the same time

we let go of the scars
that hurt us deeply
we face each other
lend each other’s
human kisses

the sun in our eyes
is life to us and we
run tirelessly together
in the summer field and
flirt with the grass

we begin to see images
that crafted beauty
we begin to feel hearts
that beat eternity
we said “i love you”
