the last lovers left dancing in the wilderness

delicious nights
fancy us in a
kangaroo dance
like leaping thunder
balls as we are
thrown by savage
arms fast and
swift on the
surface of the
indian ocean

marble floors
stuck on our
feet while the
whistle sound of
the eastern wind
captures our
ears and hypnotize
us until we move
round and round

deep in the
woods and
we can’t stop
the movements
of our hips

absolutely we
are the last lovers
left dancing in
the wilderness

“…the last lovers/left dancing in/the wilderness” I love that part!
