Perfect Love

Your Love I don’t deserve
I am only a frustration
But You give me Your grace
Your Love is dying and rising

I put my feet on the wrong
shoes
Walk the dirt road, wild and
free
When I am hurt, You come as
my refuge
Your love is a healing
unmerited

Fading me in a fading cycle
My life is not been better
But You overshadow me
I am a rift broken by your Love

You are not my Valentine
Neither Cupid nor Venus
Incomparable to anyone
But You are my Perfect Love

  1. Chester – Thanks for the follow. I really like the my first adventure in reading your work and am looking forward to exploring your blog.
I know absolutely nothing about poetry other than I know what I like and what I don’t like. If I like something I’ve read, I’ll tell others. If I don’t, well then . . .
This poem reflects vulnerability and I like . . . this tough world has too many people in it pretending to be strong when indeed they are not. Nice job. Sheri

    • Hi Sheri.
Thanks too for visiting my poetry blog. There’s no other words to say but indeed many thanks! You made me smile today and hope to explore more of your blog too! 🙂
