The Outside.

The outside is
Looking for me,
Seeking me through
The ends of the
South China Sea,
Calling my name
In the foggy dawn
Of the every day,
Telling me to
Touch the side
Of the mountains
And reap the corns
In the green field.

The fog and the dawn though touching are outside me, and the inside weeps to reap the essence of the purple mountains and green fields as if they were an inner clearing fog burnt off across the South China Sea.

hi , i liked reading it indeed.
Technical side: After 4 lines, give extra line space.
Keep the poem in multiple of 4 lines. i.e. 4 lines, 8 lines, 12 lines, 16 lines etc.
it will help in reading. beyond 4, our eyes get confused. For eg, mobile number 1800 1000 4424 can be read well easily rather 180010004424. regards –

    • I’ve been doing quatrains many years ago. So i am experimenting and doing my unconventional way, just like when Whitman wrote his Leaves of Grass πŸ™‚ this is my personal expression of my work of Art πŸ™‚ but thanks for the reminder and for liking this πŸ™‚
