14,600 Days & More.

Who has many reasons
To wake up every day?

I have.

Happy or sad,
We must go on.

When days are unique,
They cannot be the same.

But who wakes up every day
With many, thousand reasons?

I am.

If things are easier,
If things are free,

We fall in love
Again and beyond.

Who is a stranger
In his every day?

I am.

When I don’t know myself,
I ask my mother.

When I don’t know you,
I stop to feel good.

I do.

Beautifully written! The very short sentences reflect how quickly days past by so fleetingly before our eyes and before we know it, 14,600 days or rather,40years have gone by. Thanks for supporting my writing and following my blog. Looking forward to reading more of your poems.
