Don’t Worry, I’m Okay

The phone
rings in the middle
of the night but I ignore.

You cross
my mind at an hour
unexpected and I wonder.

The world
offers me a cup
of tea but I decline.

You fix
a broken home and
I trust.

The state
of me is a case you
must believe.
