Something Beautiful

A ghost, a butterfly,
a dead memory that haunts
today and tonight.

A gossip, a sensation,
a myth that turns everyone
into believing.

A pill, a slumber,
a nightmare that interrupts
the sleepers.

A time, a hand,
a fall from above that pulls
by the gravity.

A drift, a planet,
a theory that sums up all
what we are.

A frame, a picturesque,
a constant journey that leaves
something beautiful.

Something beautiful, by Chester Maynes: A ghost, a butterfly, a dead memory that haunts today and tonight.A gossip, a sensation, a myth that turns everyone into believing.A pill, a slumber, a nightmare that interrupts the sleepers.A time, a hand, a fall from above that pulls by the gravity.A drift, a planet, a theory that sums up all what we are.A frame, a picturesque, a constant journey that leaves something beautiful. Something borrowed by pueriles:  A ghost, a spirit aflutter,The past that haunts,Lingers today and forever A story, a myth—Legend that turns allInto the faithful A pill, my drug,A lie that tumblesAnd screams Time, at hand,Counting down,Weighed down by gravity Adrift, in yon star,The science that calculatesThe sum of us all A frame, The picturesque reminderof the journey to come,a future of something borrowed   Thanks,Kitt Fedoroff512-450-1220
