Unchanged

Flat tires, flat wires.
And all the food in the kitchen
are bland.

No fun, no sun.
Without you is insignificant,
undesirable.

There’s a point of remembering.
There are reasons to accept.
My life is not your life.

I can fade in an instant.
I can tolerate oblivion.
I choose to remain the same.
