Don’t Know

Yes,
I know that
you still don’t
know where I am,

and
it won’t matter
to us anymore,
rather we both

have
many things to
forget but we
can’t when all

the
walls surrounding
us talk about the
memories we shared.

Yes,
we still don’t
know how to let go
when the only thing

inside
our head is
the remnant of
our bad yesterday

and
its ugliness
have trapped us into
hopelessness.

Chester Maynes, I was doing good until I got to the “walls” and their memories. Another heartfelt post.
