The Leaves Of Summer

Burning, scorching in the day.
I stretch my shoulders and the children
outside bend their knees and dive in the waters.

Skies, blue and sunny.
I dance in my own, antique room.
My hands are tired from folding and shaking.

Turning from the heat,
I skip the sun above my shelter.
The shades of leaves in summer tamed me.
