indigo nights

there are stretches in the air
that separate me from loneliness
everything that succumb to them
are singing love songs in the cathedral

i don’t know how to measure your love
until all the sunflowers are gone
and the snowflakes start to fall
how can you go wrong from loving me

indigo nights are fearless shades
when trapped in your arms
these kisses are more than torrid
together we battle the underworld

Are you a Neruda fan? Hints of that magic here. Wow what a compliment, eh?! I’ve enjoyed the read back from your entry this morning. I’ll stop here for now, time to write my own. Thanks for reaching out. 🙂

    • I don’t know if I consider myself a Neruda fan since I haven’t really read a lot of his poems. However, thanks for believing in my poetry and for the appreciation too! Well, goodluck in your writing and blogging! Looking forward to what you write more! 🙂

I enjoyed reading your poetry, it’s such a great medium – and the melancholy is lingering and bitter sweet. Thanks also for visiting my blog.
